Once you are comfortable with classic Teen Patti, variations keep the game fresh. Each one changes a single rule — which cards are wild, which hand wins or how many cards you get — and that one change can transform your strategy.

Classic Teen Patti

The original game: three cards each, with hand rankings from Trail down to High Card. Every variation below starts from these rules, so make sure you know the classic hand rankings first.

AK47

Every Ace, King, Four and Seven is a joker that can represent any card. Strong hands become far more common, so a Pair is worth much less than in the classic game. Expect bigger hands — and bigger bets — at AK47 tables.

Muflis (Lowball)

The hand rankings are turned upside down: the lowest hand wins. A plain 2-3-5 in mixed suits becomes one of the best hands you can hold, while a Trail becomes the worst. It takes a few rounds to retrain your instincts.

Joker

Before the deal, one card is drawn at random. Every card of that rank acts as a joker for the round, which adds a fresh element of luck to each hand because the wild cards change every time.

Best of Four

Each player receives four cards and chooses the best three to make a hand. With more options, expect stronger hands and bigger pots than in the classic game.
